Following a detailed analysis and site visit, Spohn & Burkhardt India proposed a comprehensive solution featuring BROSA's Tension Load Cell and Angle Sensor, integrated with a custom-developed control system based on a SIEMENS PLC. The system provides both overload and over-angle protection through real-time visual and audible alerts. In the event of an overload or excessive boom angle, alarms are triggered via the HMI display and buzzer. If the operator fails to acknowledge the alarm or take corrective action, the system automatically initiates a crane shutdown after a predefined threshold, ensuring maximum safety for both equipment and personnel.
