Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Vertical Manager to drive growth and market expansion within the Port Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business development, strategic planning, key account management, and sales execution to strengthen our position in this sector. The role requires deep industry knowledge, a strong network, and the ability to develop solutions tailored to port and maritime applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the port industry, including terminal operators, crane manufacturers, and port authorities.
  • Market Strategy: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to establish and expand the company’s footprint in the port sector.
  • Sales Execution: Drive sales by engaging with key stakeholders, presenting solutions, and negotiating contracts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Positioning: Work closely with internal teams to align product offerings with customer requirements, including customizations and technical adaptations.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen brand presence and generate leads.
  • Technical & Commercial Proposals: Collaborate with the technical and finance teams to create compelling proposals that meet customer needs.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to refine business strategies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the engineering, production, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer support.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the port, maritime, or material handling industry.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of port operations, crane systems, automation, and material handling solutions.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strategic accounts.
  • Networking Skills: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the port industry.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to understand customer pain points and offer tailored solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
  • Technical Understanding: Able to execute the projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager – Encoders to drive the strategic growth, development, and market positioning of our encoder products. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in rotary and linear encoders, a strong understanding of industrial automation, and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering, sales, and customer needs. This role involves market research, product lifecycle management, and business development to enhance our product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Define and execute the product roadmap for encoders in alignment with market demands and company objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Product Development: Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to develop innovative encoder solutions tailored to industrial applications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers, assisting with product selection, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, training materials, and presentations to support the sales team in positioning encoder products effectively.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with key customers to gather feedback, improve products, and enhance user experience.
  • Pricing & Profitability: Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that encoder products comply with relevant industry standards, including ATEX, SIL3, and other safety certifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product availability and market penetration.
  • Business Expansion: Identify and engage with new partners, OEMs, and integrators to expand the product’s market reach.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in product management, engineering, or sales of encoder products or related industrial automation solutions.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering. An MBA is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of rotary and linear encoders, industrial automation, motion control systems, and sensor technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market data and make data-driven decisions to enhance product performance.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Capability to develop solutions addressing customer pain points and technical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing product lifecycles from concept to commercialization.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with encoder technologies, communication protocols (e.g., CANopen, PROFINET, Modbus), and integration with industrial systems.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions
